Gotta get going...

With Hubster gone for the weekend, I've gotta get my butt in gear. Alex has been really phenomenal - he's doing most of the housework and all of the dishes... Not to mention letting me rest before he goes to work.

But with him not home, I've got to do it myself - like I did before getting pregnant!! Today I started 15s...

I unloaded the dishes. While making pancakes!

I loaded the dishes - slowly with much gagging but it got done.

I finished scrubbing the crayon off Robby's walls. Finally!!

I also walked the pup.

I still have to change sheets and fold laundry... But its time for a break.

The *real* reason I miss Alex.....

He makes my breakfast every morning.

Seriously... Alex makes a mean peanut butter and jelly. And to be totally honest, with all of Mila's night wakings, plus the morning nausea, I'm just not able to fend for myself first thing in the morning.

When Mila gets up at 7, Alex hops out of bed ( grumbling as he goes, but he does go! ) and takes her downstairs. Then he comes back up with a Zofran and some water for me, and lets me rest till 8 or 8:30 ( depending on when the dog determines she has to go out ).

When I come down, he makes me a PB&J so I can eat before gettting nauseous.

While I enjoyed having THE WHOLE BED to myself last night? I really miss him this morning!

WHOA!

It's been quite the day!

This morning, I got a call from the GI office that they'd like to push her MicKey Button date up to NEXT WEDNESDAY! WHOOOHOO! I'm soo happy!

I had to call Alex and make sure, then call the GI office back.

Okay... so then I call the pediatrician because he wanted to see Mila before her surgery. He wasn't available so I left a message.

Then I got a call from the GI's office again for them to give me our arrival time ( 7:00am ). I remember to ask about anesthesia, and the GI nurse said it wasn't written in but we'd better check, she'd call me back.

THEN the home health nurse called, and I explained it all to her. She booked us in for HER on Friday at 3:00.

Two minutes later, Home Nutrition Support called! They want to see us too! That appointment is November 17 at 9:00am.

Not five minutes after that, the GI office called again to say Anesthesia would call us for a PreOp consult.

Phone call after Phone call after PHONE CALL!

Upcoming Appointments:

Friday the 31 - Home nurse
November 3rd or 4th - PreOp for Mila / Visit With Ped
November 5th - MicKey for Mila, Thoughts for MIL
November 12th - OB for Cletus the Fetus
November 17th - Home Nutrition for Mila

In other news : October was a decent month for the gallery. HOORAY! Mila's weight is down a teensy bit but we aren't concerned in the slightest because this is very normal. I'm still taking 2-3 Zofran a day to combat the nausea that has only progressed to vomiting a few times. Robby is being a red dragon with gold wings for Halloween. I don't know what Mila will be yet ( I'm thinking a pink unicorn or a fat pumpkin... or I may leave her with my MIL and just take Robby ).

Alex leaves Wednesday to NY. BIG BIG prayers that this is a good trip!

My parents are off to a Bar Mitzvah the same weekend. Have a good flight!

The baby dress is done but not in time for baby! My customer's baby seems to be arriving EARLY!

There really isn't too much else going on!

Perpetually sleep deprived!

There has to be a point where all kids sleep, right?

Mila is napping like a PRO. Once she's down - which often takes only a few moments - she's out for a solid 2.5-3.5 hours. And she *needs* it. She simply can't get through the day without the nap .. she'll just pass out wherever she is, and stay asleep.

But nightime, OH HOLY GOD, our nighttimes are sucking. I don't really MIND, per se, that it often requires two of us and several trips to get her tucked into bed and sleeping. Robby used to do that too, so I don't really consider that abnormal.

But she's taken to waking every hour, or every half hour, screaming MAMA, MAMA over and over. She's eating enough during the day, and most of the time, she's not hungry and refuses the bottle. She merely wants to be held up for a few minutes so she can get back into her sleep session... only to wake up half an hour after being gently placed in her bed. ( This will be no easy feat as I get rounder and can't stand so close to the crib. ) Around 5:00am, Mila asks for a bottle, and then sleeps - PEACEFULLY - until two hours later when she's up for the day.

One day.. one day she'll sleep!

Today, we are going to a Sukot celebration at Ayala's house. Robby loves visiting people, and Mila will have a blast on their mini playground with their kids... It is kinda sucky that its during naptime though. Oh well... Mila slept in till 8:30 after being up half the night, so she'll make it till 3ish before falling asleep on the nearest semi - horizontal surface.

Oh, and thanks for all the congratulations... We're THRILLED.

More Information

Okay... I know I kinda just blurted out my secret and left ya'll hanging without any more information.

YES, this was planned. YES, we were trying. YES, we know we're crazy, but we're also really happy to be able to complete our little family.

Baby is being referred to as Coco. For a while, we called it Coco the embryo, although technically Coco the embryo is now Cletus the Fetus. That's right... Coco is 7 weeks old, with a gestational date of 9 weeks, and a due date of May 25. That puts arrival sometime around the 11th of May.

Yes, Robby knows. No, Mila doesn't seem to understand. We've just begun telling people, so NO, you weren't the last to find out.

I feel disgusting most of the time. My OB didn't want to prescribe Zofran because of the lack of clinical trials. He instead prescribed DICLECTIN - the safest drug during pregnancy. Its also VERY sedating and not very effective. A friend of Alex's - Dr. Neurosurgeon - prescribed the Zofran for me. I feel MUCH better today!

The reason I haven't blogged.

I have a little secret. I suck at keeping secrets. In fact, I REALLY suck at keeping secret. Hence, since I have a little secret, I have neglected blogging. Because, really, if I don't blog? I cannot possibly spill my secret.

Ooops! Crap. I KNEW I shouldn't blog!
